Better Dwelling was founded by Gabriel. His father works building cabinets in cabinet shops, a personal connection that helped spark Gabriel’s interest in the craftsmanship behind kitchen cabinetry—and how homeowners decide what to change.

That interest inspired a service focused on helping people approach renovation decisions with a clearer understanding of their options, their existing kitchen, and what they hope to achieve.

Sometimes a homeowner needs help comparing paths. Sometimes they already have a direction and want to understand whether it fits. Our approach starts there, with relevant questions and guidance rather than a one-size-fits-all recommendation.

Our initial focus is cabinet refacing: understanding whether keeping the existing cabinet boxes and layout may suit the project. Homeowner observations can inform a conversation; a professional still needs to verify condition, feasibility, and cost.
